Single-mode laser sources (SLM)
Designed for holography
In analog holography, the quality of recordings depends directly on the properties of the laser source. Single longitudinal mode (SLM) emission is essential to ensure beam coherence and the stability of interference patterns.Commercial solutions, although highly efficient, remain expensive, with prices ranging from around €5,000 for 100 mW to over €15,000 for 800 mW in single-mode configuration.
In this context, the Hololab-Factory team has undertaken the design and development of its own laser sources tailored for holography. This project led to the creation of two 100 mW lasers: one emitting in green at 530 nm, the other in red at 640 nm.Developed in-house using electronic, optical, and optomechanical components, they have been optimized to ensure stability and coherence.
